Chandigarh: Haryana Government has not approved the demands of Haryana roadways staff regarding permits to private bus operators and timings of the roadways fleet.
The issue was discussed in the meeting held between Haryana Transport Minister O.P Dhankkadh and representatives of Haryana Roadways Employee unions.
Employee Leader Hari Narayan Sharma said that government had not approved the demands of the roadways workers and the Chakka jaam would continue till the government fulfills the demands of the workers.
“Four unions are in meeting with Transport Minister”, he added
These are the demands of workers:
1. Include 3000 buses in HR fleet.
2. Cancellation of permits of Private Bus operators.
Earlier, the Roadways staff staged protests in various parts of Haryana such as Jind, Hisar, Rohtak, and Yamunanagar where traffic was thrown out of gear through out the day.
